Cross-section views of CT data provide a dynamic and interactive method of viewing cross-sectional human anatomy. You can rotate, zoom, and pan the view to study any part of the body in detail.
The cross-section views are produced by using a combination of mathematical algorithms to interpret the data from a series of scans. The resulting images are then converted into a series of 2D cross-sections and are displayed in a special viewing app.
